Take a look at the Nelson Thorne fonts, http://tech.schooladmin.co.uk/?p=132. The font package that you buy adds a few very good resources to your fonts like greyed out, dotted and tramlines. These allow you to print any text you like, and have pupils trace and practice writing to your own worksheets.

Of all the joined up fonts I have seen I think that the NT ones are the best as they have a range of options and genuinly 'join' correctly when used in a paragraph. The free Jarman font is a very good free option but you will need to be a little more imaginitive when using it.
