My photo taken for Week 6 of shutterboos weekly photo challenge, Repetition.
I settled on this image from a few taken from on a walk into town from work, the building itself is a 4 story, modern building for City College in Coventry. The building is quite striking anyway but I quite like this close crop showing the precise cladding and windows with the reflected light highlighting imperfections.
Photographing a traffic sign for the Shutterboo weekly challenge, week 5.
I had an idea in my head, one of many, but am not sure that it looks quite like I thought it would. A few odd looks whilst playing with tripods at the side of the road, but I quite like the results.

Whilst burning some rubbish I found some ice inside one of my boats and took a few photos with the base of the burner as a backdrop.
The ice lasted about 3 minutes before being completely gone.

My contribution to the Shutterboo Weekly Photo Challenge for Week 4.
A few ideas floating around but I chose the literally floating one, Using an old waterproof digital camera and some printer refill inks I filled the bath and awaited the results.
As the camera was literally submerged I had no idea what the results were going to be. The camera was set to continuous shoot and then the inks squirted into the field of view as I held the shutter button down.

With a group of pupils from one of my schools at an outdoor centre in North Wales. Quite a few of the kids had not been to the beach before and loved being there, even though it was a cold January day.
It was great to see how much joy they were getting from doing something that seems so simple and trivial – Throwing a stone into the sea!
